Вид, сформировавшийся в процессе стасипатрического (хромосомного) видообразования (см. stasipatry), в частности, вид с отличающимся кариотипом в пределах комплексного таксона - доказано (работы Э. Нево с соавт.) существование 4 Х.в. (с диплоидными числами 2n=52, 54, 58, 60) в пределах комплексной формы слепышей Spalax ehrenbergi на территории Передней Азии.
